pre-a) Susanna is cute when she darts across streets. When there are no cars and darting is not specifically necessary.
a) We went out for Indian food tonight. This is something we’ve been saying we were going to do for AGES, and my getting engaged finally gave us enough of an excuse to do it, and it was fabulous. We all tried a lot of things and stepped out of our comfort zones and it was great. And we saw Dr. Tatter, and he gave us an awkward “I have bags of take-out food in my hands” wave. Oops.
b) I talked at dinner about how I always forget my to-go boxes (sorry Andy!)….and then we did. But only for a second, because Katelyn caught us. But then she forgot her camera, and so we went back, and the man picked on her. :-)
c) We went to Wal-Mart and oohed and ahhed over baby clothes, and comforters, and the cute vegetable peelers (okay, that one was just me).
d) We sang in the car on the way back. Really loudly. To, um, Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera, and Alanis Morisette. It’s true.
So, it was a fun, college-y night. I feel like we haven’t gone out in ages. And tomorrow night is shaping up to be fun as well. And also I’ve gone through two books for my Honors project research and I am actually kind of enjoying it. I feel productive and satisfied and loved, and that’s a good way to end a night, if you ask me.
